We've recently upgraded our stereo system that seems to do the lot - plays CDs, DVDs, hooks up our iPod and makes dinner (I wish!).
With everyone upgrading to the latest technology, I'm wondering whether people are still interested in buying old school and separate VCR players, CD players and stereos?
What happens to all of this stuff (aside from taking up room in our cupboard)? Is it becoming vintage collector item material or scrap metal?

Good question, I'm sure there is a market for old school stereo systems and the like. Remember, those funky tvs? Or record players?
Not my cup of tea, I'd prefer the swish technological whizz bang feature electronics...

I got rid of my old television through cash converters. I also got rid of my old VCR and cassette player with a mix of other stuff by having a garage sale posted on TradingPost (mind you, you have to post your ad on there early so that there is time for people to acknowledge when the Garage sale is going to be).
