Hey! I got myself an iTrip component which is made by Belkin I think. The iTrip comes preset to an FM frequency so you just tune your car radio into that frequency and plug the iTrip into the top of your iPod and your tunes come through your car stereo. You can also change the frequency that your iTrip is tuned to if you wish. It sounds great and it's as good as an MP3!
Enjoy!!

or if your car radio has a tape deck and you have an only tape adapter from a discman or something you can just use that

If your getting an iTrip or similar brand make sure you get one that runs on the iPods battery or, even better, one plugs into the car charger & doubles as a docking station.
If you live in a metro area its a good idea to get one where you can set it to any frequency. There is nothing worse than having to re-tune your because a local station is interfering.
Harvey Norman have a large range if you are looking to see what's out there.

Yeah! I've left my iTrip on the default frequency and don't have many issues with interference. I find that if I'm driving on the Monash freeway and I'm going over Warrigul road I get interference from a local station but apart from that I've had no problems. I love it!

I have had lots of problems with my iTrip - must depend where you live as it worked well in NZ! Anyway, I bought a 'RoadTrip' and that is much better. You mount the iPod on a stand that plugs into your cigarette lighter .... stuffs your drink holder but at least it works

Or a very rare option, which my brother uses, a cord with a double ended head phone jac -
One end plugs into the ipod and the other into the stereo, no radio Interference.
(his car is standard with the head phone jac, VT commodore)
