Hi Nick

I'm not an expert on R33's or wreckers yards.

But you have to ask yourself a few questions ???

By checking on the the TP site you can see that they are going for about $14k to $18k. What are you actually going to get for $1,100?

Why is it in the wreckers yard in the first place? Insurance Co's will often right off cars if they are structurally damaged and are not repairable. ie you may not be able to get it registered.

There's an old saying and it's a bit boring, but goes like;

If it seems too good to be true ....... Then it probably is!

A wrecking yard is for cars, like a dump is for domestic garbage. Would you go to the dump to buy your clothes or groceries??? Its called a wrecking yard for just that reason. Cars there are wrecks, there might be spare parts that could be reused it you are repairing or doing up another car, but common sense should prevail, anything you get in a wrecking yard is unsuitable for driving in.
