I've got about a dozen original movie posters (mostly framed and hanging on my walls) and want to start collecting more. Anyone know the best sites for advice on this? I presume checking the auction sites is the way to go, but was also wondering if importing is likely to show better dividends?

I'd have thought that the US was the best place to source them.

I mainly like 60s posters for their style (fave being Get Carter).

Getting harder and harder to find at a good price. They do still show up on the auction sites, but I think sellers are much better educated these days (unfortunately). The really rare ones are selling for top dollar, if you really want one in particulare - you'll have to pay for it.

Go to collectors fairs, keep an eye on the auction sites and also check dealer sites, they often have sales.

Good luck with your collecting!
