Does anyone know any good timber yards around the Mornington area where I can get a large amount of timber to build a pergola. I am not interested in Bunnings and I have generally found their timber to be poor quality and I prefer to see my cash go to a local trader rather than some corporate monster.

Hi
I have bought treated pine recently from a little timber yard/hardware place in Toogarook. I can't remember the name of the place, but it is on Nepean Hwy as you come into Toogarook from Rosebud. It is easy to find. They have trellis/poles etc propped up outside with a small carpark alongside. They also stock vanities, doors etc.

I found their prices good and the service is great.

Hope this helps
