I think it would be a great idea if the Trading Post had a dedicated section for people selling and buying school curriculum books at the end of the year. They could have current lists and provide a good central resource. Anyone else think this would be good? I know I've got a large amount of books to sell and buy in a few months!

Good idea! My daughter moves up to Year 9 next year and the book costs are horrendous! Plus she has all these books to get rid of. Went to the school swap, but it was more of a revenue raiser for them. And they are a private school!

What would be the best way of getting this going? It needs to be year/school specific and be easy to use.

Hi Jeff, there is an Education, Reference & Textbooks category under Books and Publications.

Maybe you could go into Books & Publications->Education, Reference & Textbooks-> Study Guides & Techniques.

Not much there at this stage, but I have a few that I can put up in the next few days...

Hey Jeff
I have developed a website that does just that.
It is specific for your local school and you can enter the year level for the books you want to either sell or buy.
Ther is also a seperate Author & Title search catagory so all bases are covered.
Contact me on sargent975@hotmail.com for more information
