I have just started using trading post and have had to edit my 3 ads to add photos and change a few details. Every time I have done this I have been charged extra fees on my credit card. After speaking to customer support ( who are always very polite and helpful) I have been told that it is a problem with the system that they are trying to fix and I am just unlucky that it has happened to me. I will eventually get my refunds but it is annoying that I have to contact them at all to point out the fault. It shouldn't be happening..
Is anyone else having this problem at the moment

Hi
I noticed the charged after i reduce the buyout price, so i didnt pay for it and send message to trading post staff, and have receive no reply since 3 days.. they charge is $3.30.
This can't be happening by itself, someone must have done this on purpose to ripoff people who are not aware, it's hard to trust trading post now, i might not use it again if this continues or happens again.
They better fix it soon or lose users and money.

Thanks for your reply. I don't believe that it is deliberate but a genuine computer glitch that needs to be fixed. In spite of them saying it is rare ,as the problem is supposed to have been fixed, I am still concerned that it is happening to too many people and they may not get their refunds if the don't notice. Happened again last night with a small change to my ad and was charged 3.30. will have to call them again today. Where are the computor geeks when you need them. You say you didn't pay them. How did you do this when they debit my credit card?

Np..
a guinuine glitch? why it is about money? Why not login proces or adding add?.. there are alot of questions to be asked, well everyone look at the system according to what they know about computer or about the company..that's my opinion, your might be different..
I didnt pay them as i noticed next to paynow a charge, i did'nt submit it..
anyway hope people get refunds back..

Me too. Friendly staff will change it if you call, but v.poor form that it hasn't been fixed online by now! Suppose they prefer the income rather than the little bad press from those who notice.

It obviously still isnt fixed as it is trying to charge me $7.70 for editing my phone number. Might have to call them I guess. Not a very good first experience with the Trading Post. Probably wont use it again. It doesnt seem to have the online exposure that Ebay has. May be a different story with the print version though I guess.
