Fake Emails - Phishing Scam

We have received reports of a fake email (phishing) being sent to Trading Post members, this email is asking users to update their personal information.

Trading Post strongly recommends you do the following:
  1. Forward the email to investigations@tradingpost.com.au and then delete the email from your Inbox and Deleted Items
  2. Confirm your email address on your account is correct
  3. Update your password and secret question and answer
  4. If you use a common password on your online accounts that hold secure information update these immediately
  5. Contact Trading Post immediately on 1300 138 016 or at investigations@tradingpost.com.au
  6. Contact your financial institution
  7. Run a virus and malware scan on the computer that was used in the update of your information


If you are unable to access your account to update your details please let us know.

Trading Post will never send you an email asking you to update your personal account information by clicking on a link in an email.

Please update your records on before June 1, 2008 . You will be registered to our new security program that protects our members from receiving fake e-Mails. A failure to update your records may result on a suspension of your account. Click on the link below to update your Trading Post records:

This new security statement will help us continue to offer Trading Post as a secure place to buy and sell. This update is also a new Trading Post security statement which goes according to the established norms on our Terms & Conditions.
