What do you do with a book after you have finished reading it?

1. Re-sell it?
2. Pass it on to a friend?
3. Put it on the shelf to you want to read it again?
4. Other?

PS. This isn't a trick question, just curious.

I leave my books on the shelf, but never read it again...so re-selling is the way to go. I managed to sell one of my books last week so will definitely keep going.

This is how I approach:

1. Good book, instant favourite, read again - straight to bookshelf.
2. Good book, but won't read again - give to friend or sell.
3. It was something to read, you won't read again and are to embarrased to pass it on - I sell to secondhand book store and get another book to replace it.

Hi,

I donate my new books once l have read them and will not read again to the local library (also any dvd's that l purchased that l will not watch again!). They can either put then in the collection for others to read or sell at their annual book sale and in turn get money to enlarge their collections.

Cheers, Jed.

well , for some good books ,we should repeat it after some certain time. then we can really get some value frome it . of course for most of them one time is enough ,thereis no need to do it .
