If I was to buy a DVD from New Zealand would it work on Australian DVD players?
I'm not familiar with how the DVD regions all work.

| Hi! As long as the dvd is Region 4 PAL, which is for Australia and New Zealand it will play. Make sure and read the add and ask the seller what region it is. Different countries have different region codes for dvds. The U.S is Region 1 for example. Mostly these days, the new dvd players are multi-region players and will play any region HOWEVER, it pays to check before buying one.

Check the back of your player for what region it is. If it's multi region which nearly all new machines are then yes it will play,or if it's region 4 which is Australia's region. Ask the seller for what region the disc is after checking.
America is region 1
Britain is region 2
Australia region 4
