Car Detailing

We are wanting to get some feedback with car detailing. On many occasions my friends & family call car detailers to come wash their cars, get it looking spick & span again as they dont have the time. They pay $190 & the car looks the same, the havent cleaned the door trims inside the car, under the bonnet, or even cleaned the windows, just a quick vacuum & wash. Thos that aren't car enthusiasts dont have a passion for cars therefore shouldnt be washing others pride & joys.
We have a few cars ourselves, a VR Calais, VL Calais drag car & a VP Calais, plus a motorbike. We love our cars, & treat them like you would not believe. ha ha

We are looking into strating our own car detailing business but before going ahead would like to know if anyone would pay for this service, & how much would you pay?

Trust me when I say that our car detailng is like no other, if anyone is interested in even coming to see our cars to see what we mean & give us a try, then please email me. Photos & references are available for some work we have done.

Any feedback would be great.

what other forms of air intake can i use on my '94 v6 VR besides stock and is there a common/easy to find supercharger to fit this model?anyone know of someone who's not full of it to help me in S.A with mild street mod's,thanks.

Removing paint from bodywork

a few months ago my girlfriend drove over some paint that had spilled on the road, and didn't get it washed off immediately.

can someone recommend a product and/or method for removing this paint without removing the metallic paintwork of the car.

VL Turbo

What sorts of modifications could I do to make the turbo sound louder while it's winding up? As in when you drive and the turbo kicks in there is this faint JET sound, would it be a blow off valve or an intercooler addition? Thanks for any help in advance.

LASER mods

i own a little '92 KH Laser 1600cc so as you can imagine it is seriously lagging in power! basically i want to know if there are any mods i can do to give the little car some guts. if not then is it possible to convert it to a v6 or small v8?

any suggestions will be great!

and yeah, just for the record, i know it's not the ideal car to waste money on...

auto transmission problems

hello anyone!I have the pleasure of owning a tn magna with transmission problems.the trans has been slipping a bit for a couple of weeks, any way i was about to stop in the front of the local shop when i decided to go round the block but when i put my foot on the throttle (being careful not to give it too much juice because of the slipping) the trans went clunk and rolled to a stop.I tried all the gears and it doesnt go into any of them,forwared or reverse .Its like its permanently in neautral.I do know oil is still getting pumped thru the lines.Could it be the torque converter that finally gave up the ghost?thanks frank

radiator repairs

watch out for radiator shops that say they cant weld the hole in the centre core because it`s to thin, so it will cost around $300 bucks to replace. When they can snip the piece at both ends as its thicker and weld there and it will not affect the car cooling system with one piece missing. And that will cost around $40.00.
