If I was to buy a DVD from New Zealand would it work on Australian DVD players?

I'm not familiar with how the DVD regions all work.

Portable DVD Player

HI, I have some DVDs that are 'skipping' and not playing very well on my portable dvd player. They play OK at the start. but start to skip when I get further into the movie. The DVDs play ok on my normal unit. Any ideas?

The Avengers - early seasons

I have all of The Avengers sets (mostly bought when in England), and one set from '62 bought from Trading Post. It contains a lot of the '62 season but is not complete. Are there certain episodes that are lost forever?

I am of course talking about the series which starred Steed!

Vinyl, CD or MP3?

This is just an out of interest question really, how does everyone prefer to buy there music these days?

Do you buy CD's or prefer Vinyls or are you completely digital and only download via Itunes or similar or do you not buy music at all and only download through shareware programs.

Me, I've recently grown fond of Vinyl's so have been buying some of my favourite albums of all time in that format - I just think they look cooler and have a different sound sure I still buy CDs but Vinyl's are my current love.

Haven't ventured into paying for downloads via Itunes or anything yet is this a good way to build your music collection? I guess I like to have something physical to associate with the music like artwork, lyrics, etc.

What Anime to watch?

I love my anime: from the Ah my Goddess to Maburaho! I know there are so many collections out there, but I just don't know where to begin. I've started to watch a few, but then have stopped because I lack interest after the 2nd episode or so.

I loved Madlax, Maburaho, Ah My Goddess, Full Metal Alchemist.. there are so many more I've watched and liked.

I would like some suggestions of other anime collections I can look into (oh yes, I must mention, I always have to get it Bilingual as I love to be able to watch it with the real voices, and watch it dubbed).
