Hi, I'm selling my business on Trading Post and was wondering what anyone's views were on business brokers? They seem to charge about 5% but want a cash sum up first. After they get their cash...am I going to get my moneys worth? The ad is here

Effective Business Advertising Campaigns

I was also wondering what peoples favourite TV/Print/Radio/Online campaigns are or what ones get your attention most for good or bad reasons.

Personally I can't stand that ad for Off sunscreen I think it is where the lady keeps saying 'you've got it on' very annoying. I like the MAC Vs PC ads.

What are some methods for promoting your website besides the usual networking, word of mouth and talking to people online type promotion?

How do I get my website onto all the big search engines (Google, Yahoo, etc)?

How long does it take for a search engine to recognise your site in the search results?

Does it cost to get your site to appear at the top of search results?
