This is obviously a scam. How does trading post refund the money if this person is obviously not going to pay and wasting not only my time and money?

this is his original email and follow up:

> Hello Seller,
>
> Sorry for the delay. I am interested in your item. I am in USA,
> Florida at the moment for work and I want to buy this lovelt item for
> my Fiancee, who works with UNICEF and apparently got transfered to
> West Africa for Malaria and Polio control.
>
> I would have loved picking item up myself and checking it before
> posting to my fiancee, but due to my work load and present location,
> it will not be possible for that, so please let me have total cost
> including postage, and I will make payment via Bank transfer to you immediately.
> Provide bank details for payment.
>
> Get back to me asap
>
> Regards
> Martin.
>

delivery address is

CarlAnthony
1 Ojo Street, Off babalola B/stop.
Mushin
Lagos
23401
Nigeria. West Africa.

I will make transfer soon. I just want to know the total cost from you. You gave shipment of $30 to australia not West Africa.

Get back to me asap.

Thank you

Martin

RE: Refund for insertion fee

Although I have only recently posted my 1st. item for Sale I have not been closely monitoring the advert , or the site(Trading Post) in its entirety. It is disturbing to read some of the complaints posted by Sellers in regards to the debiting of Credit Card Accounts by the Host.
I assume it must be written somewhere in the Agreement between Host and Seller that this can occur. Otherwise it is criminal offence to use another persons Credit Card without the owners permission. Should their doubtful excuse of technical glitch continue to be their reasoning then I shall be removing my details and proposed Sale items. Business is no longer conducted in a helpful manner , it is all done for GREED. Pity , but that's the way it has become. The bigger the business , the greater the GREED.

Refund for insertion fee

Hi there,
I just listed my first item for sale on tradingpost today. I thought I give it a go as I am usually trading on ebay since 2004. Just 3h after I listed my item someone bought it "Buy it now" and I got a message telling me.
Sorry I can't pickup but I would like to!! I am in USA, Florida at the moment for work and I want to buy this lovely item for my Fiancee, who works with UNICEF and apparently got transfered to West Africa for Malaria and Polio control. After he bought my item he said I am interested in buying your item. I am so sick of these people. Is there anything you can do? And I want my fees back. They cost me $20 a hit and you can do absolutly nothing stopping them from hitting the "Buy now" button.
