Trading Post’s response to a recent Phishing scam

Trading Post® has recently received feedback from customers advising they have received emails from a third party claiming to be Trading Post®.

The email is a typical phishing scam where people are invited to update their Trading Post® member details in an attempt to trick them into giving away personal information such as user names, passwords and credit card numbers.

This email was not authorised or issued by Sensis Pty Ltd, the publisher of Trading Post®. In the interests of customer security and safe trading, we suggest recipients of this email do not respond or click on any of the links. Recipients are also advised to forward a copy of the email to investigations@tradingpost.com.au and then immediately delete all copies of the email you have.

Recipients and customers should also be aware that Trading Post® does not ask customers to update or review their member details in emails.
