You should definately not have to wait 2 hours for anything, so somethings gone wrong. <br><br>Good luck with it!Thu, 12 Apr 2007 14:14:04 GMTpointman/Topic893-5-1.aspxhi,Ive been trying to uninstall windows xp and then reinstall it but it aint working!I start up my computer with original xp disc in the cd drive,i also start up the computer then i put the disc in the cd drive(this disc came with computer(icom) when new from target)both ways seem to work the same as i get the same response near the end of the installation which is.......when install gets to the last few stages of the installation abox comes up saying something like "windows will automatically configer screen resolution" then when it does it it asks you to press ok,and when i press ok a black screen with the windows microsoft logo comes up saying' please wait', 2 hours later Iwas still waiting'whats happening?Surely i dont have to wait that long do i?Am i using the right disc? is there another way to uninstall my o/p system and reinstall it? thanks frankFri, 06 Apr 2007 08:37:26 GMTfatboyslim
