Good bike for a learner

Hey im new to the bike world and gonna get my licence in a couple months, just wondering what you guys/girls reckon would be a good bike to learn on, obviously its gotta be "LAMS" so under 650cc, im looking at something about the 500cc mark since id want it to last me a while. my brothers just got their licence's and one of them has got a Kawaskia KLE500 which is a dual pourpose bike, something like that would be good but the ones i can find are outta my price range, so im probably looking for a dual pourpse bike or a naked style around $3000-$4000, i'd be doing a fair but of highway ridding since i live a fair bit outta town.

Im getting my L's soon (woo-hoo).. I will be riding from newcastle to sydney maybe 3-4 times a week.. Im wondering if anyone can help with the sort of bike that would be good for long (80-90kmh) trips ?

honda cbr125 - same

not sure of style yet, it really depends on freeway ability..

Suzuki TC100 1973 model - value??

hi everybody! my dad and i are looking for information on a vintage Suzuki TC100 agricultural motorbike, 1973 model. We've heard its a fairly rare bike, but after extensive search on the net, cant find any information ANYWHERE. The bike has been garaged and maintained its entire life, so is in immaculate condition. For a restorer, it would be a dream project. Does anybody have any information on how much it would be worth? or if it would be worth selling?

I bought this bike a couple of years ago and never got around to riding it that much, its sitting in my shed with a flat battery at the moment, i was wondering if any body would have a estimate at what it was worth, ive tried talking to dealers and they are not sure on a value, there is only 1000 of them made in the world and was sure there was only 25 brought to our shores, i still have all the original parts after i fitted exhaust system and alot of carbon fibre and other little after market things, so any body with any information please leave a reply. cheers hainus.

WA - Scooter Stolen

Hi

I just wanted to let you know that my red Vmoto Montego has been stolen. It was taken after it broke down in Ballajura on the 14th of January at about 5:45pm while I was walking to a public phone to call my parents for help. I'm spreading the word as much as I can incase the theives try to purchase new parts to fix it or try to sell it.
