I used to have a Kenwood Audio system in my car, which after not too long started jumping a lot and my discs one by one got wrecked with scratches.

Although I had these issues, the sound quality was still great..

I am looking to find a system which will NOT wreck my discs, plays MP3's, will provide great sound quality, smooth bass, with remote and detachable faceplate for added security. Any Suggestions!?!

I need to replace my audio system as soon as possible.. I'm running out of CD's to play in my deck!.. haha!

get an iPod, rip all your CDs onto it (you could probably even salvage the ones your stereo killed), and use it with an iTrip

hey!

yeah, i do have an iPod mini.. BUT, i bought myself a Griffin iTrip but it comes though with such disgusting distortion (not only in my car but also on my home stereo)..

i love my iPod, but unless there is another option other than the iTrip, its not a working option for me.. *sigh*

strange. the one for my iPod mini worked great. but then i got one for my 4G iPod and it sucks unless you're in the middle of nowhere in the car, or it's right next to the home stereo. bought myself an iDock for home use.

for the car, if you buy a replacement stereo, get one that has a socket for plugging in an mp3 player.

Hey I'm having the same problem with my Car CD Player it has real trouble playing burnt CD's! It usually plays one or two tracks fine but the rest just skip or don't work at all! I try the CD's in my Home Stereo and Computer and they work fine and even some original CD's that are brand new don't even really play thinking maybe it might just need a clean????

Does anyone know of any good Cleaning Products i've tried the standard cleaning discs you get from officeworks but that did a whole lot of nothing!

Maybe it's time to rip it out and get a new one
