Gold Coast Clubbing
OK as a local i do not go out any more for fear of being bashed for no reason. It seems the only story's i hear these days are about some poor person getting bash in surfers either over nothing or over something very very stupid. Anyway it was my 21st last week so i organized a party in surfers. Around schoolies i know i didn't realize this is the case.
So at around 12 we headed to Elsewhere from the venue we had rented for the night. My mate apparently knows managers etc so we had 40 people on the door. As we arrived at about 2 mins past 12 they made us all pay  . The night was going awesome everyone was having fun. All of a sudden i get a tap on the shoulder from my girlfriend telling me a mate has been bashed by security. It was great going outside and seeing my mate with blood all over him with the police threatening to put him in jail and me in jail when i tried to find out what was going on........
So now for the story......
This mate of mine was dancing with his Girlfriend and my Girlfriend. Some big guy with blond hair and a tight white shirt on started trying to shove his self between them. My mate politely and i do i mean politely said he was dancing with his girl friend and can he back off a little. Apparently (3 of my mates witnessed) this guy then went and talked to security only to come back and do the same thing. He then apparently turned around and told my mate he stepped on his shoes and punched him in the face. As soon as the first punch connected. He then had security grab him from behind while this guy continued to punch him. Another security guard then came over as they where taking my mate down and kneed him. Then as they dragged my mate outside this random guy disappeared behind security and i was notified. (was a few more hits but hard to say exactly how many my mate did not throw one!!!!)
This is WRONG people should not get bashed by security. I thought they where meant to be around to protect people not help mates bash people cause they can. I plan on TRYING to spread this story and TRYING to boycott Elsewhere. It has always been my favorite club but since talking about this i have heard other similar story's. So please if you can do not go here and please try to spread the word. PEOPLE SHOULD NOT GET BASHED FOR NO REASON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
