| I am looking for a timber (plank) row boat to convert into a play pirate boat for the back yard. Brisbane area. Seaworthiness not required.

| What an awesome idea, the kids would absolutely love that. I might keep that in mind for when my little one grows up a bit more. Good luck finding something.

| I recommend you go to any marina where old style wooden boats are moored, repaired and maintained. Not sure about SA or QLD but in Melbourne, Pompies Boat builders in Mordialloc next to the Creek have a stock pile of old wooden boats. they probably also know who the owners of the old boats that are moored in the Creek especially some of the ones that are starting to fall apart and are no longer seaworthy.

That's really cool.
I'm sure you'd have lots of fun once you get it! telescope
Have you tried googling it?
TradingPost has been getting more traffic recently so I'm sure that'll be helpful.
All the best!
