Hi, as a new member to trading post and doing a browse through different categories, I was alarmed to see my personal details automatically completed in submit forms. The decision to complete these forms should be mine. Not being secured pages my personal details are now accessible to who knows who.
So in conclusion this would be one feature that I personally feel that trading post would be better without.

I totally agree with you concerns and you information along with anyone else that has an account with the Trading Post or in fact any other type of media should be kept under wraps as this is a breach of the Privacy Act and if that information is breached then the person that has made it possible for others to see can be charged under a court of law.

Form auto-complete is generally a feature of the web browser, not the web site. So this data is not being stored by trading post, but by your own computer.

It is only something that should concern you if you share the computer you are using with other people (and they use the same account to log on to this computer). And if you are genuinely concerned about your online security, then you shouldn't be sharing computer log on accounts in the first place.

If you elaborate on what computer and browser you are using, plus what web pages / forms in particular you are referring to, I can comment in more detail...
