I have just signed up here since feebay now demand all sellers offer PayPal which is far from safe, hence, I can't sell there anymore.

Willing to give this a try.

Sellers, please tell me, how are sales performing here?

hi Mulla,me too after the feebay antics I guess we have nothing to loose.Ive only listed one thing so far but dont expect miracles as its all still new. That and the fact alot wont know about the auctions just yet.Anyway Ive had no bids but a couple of watchers.
I do find there are alot of hang ups yet to iron out.For one thing I was wondering why the forums seemed so dead until it actually to six goes to access without that error message occuring.
I say maybe the TP just needs to advertise more and let others know there's somthing other than you know where.
Could rave forever but I think Ill just hit the beach and put a big message in the sand www.tradingpost.com.au.
anyway best of luck with your new venture cheers

To date I have found TP listings disappointing (I have about 20 things listed).

Things that sell very well elsewhere are raising little interest on TP. Hopefully the current TV ad. campaign may spark things up - although I only list as "buy now" not auction.

I'm hanging around at least until end of December to see if things improve.

So far it seems to me that it is worse than the big O. No traffic here
I was hoping that TP would take off being that it is such a well established icon in AU.

Hi Guys,

With the new auction campaign running on TV and radio, hopefully this will create more interest in TP auctions . Oh and btw, I put one of my fantasy novel up last week and managed to sell it!

I sold two of my items yesterday... very pleasantly surprised I must say as I was not expecting anything after listing on o-z-t-i-o-n, where no one buys. Keeping fingers crossed and best of luck to all of us.

hi all
yes, it is slow here and i have had three sales on laptops but so sad they are from nigeria, sales are dead on ozion as mentioned but i do still sell there. i feel TP will kick off there is a low amount of clicks but it seems to be the weekends that pick up. new things take time and i wold suggest to place a variety of items to find out what sells and what is dead in the water. yes put it on feebay and it will sell but prices are so high for fees you just don't make money, except feebay

you know what guys i hope tradingpost does kick of because i cant stand ebay anymore and that feebay thing made me laugh because i have had fee's out my beep from them... toooo tooo expensive not enough help and support for sellers i have been ripped of on ebay so many bloody times it is unbelievable with no support

few times now before i learned to not send nothing via regular mail the most trustworthy ebayers still rip people off i was powerseller with plenty feedback with not 1 negative response and they still don't believe me and the other fool had 6 feedback with about 4 negatives.... still kills me.... i was fooled by few guys were they pay by paypal then receive item and say they did not receive it and get a full bloody refund from paypal because i can not prove that i sent it ??!?@! how is that my fault he wanted regular at least go halfs on the loss or something... sux

i can go on all day about ebay i have had it for 8 years its another big thing that has gone from nothing to something and now that just dont care anymore...

now i am banned because i sold a mail system that was not alowed on ebay and within that time i sold an item on my friends account from my house and they linked me to him and banned us both.... for logging in

not long ago i sold a mail machine that is not alowed to be sold on ebay i purchased from a liqudated company they banned me anyways after everything for relisting it or something i dont remember anyways i sold an item on a friends account they linked him to me logging on via my computer banned us both...

i give up with them...
