The great thing about Buy Now ads is that they allow you to:

  1. Know the exact price of the item you are purchasing
  2.  Ask the seller questions online & anonymously about the item to help you decide whether to buy
  3. View the payment & delivery options provided by the seller
  4. Review the seller's feedback & ratings
  5.  See previously asked questions and the seller's answers that they have elected to display online

It’s easy to buy from a Buy Now ad. All you need to do is make sure you are registered and logged onto tradingpost.com.au.

  1. Search for the item you are looking for (remember you can refine your search by looking only for Buy Now ads)
  2. Click the BUY NOW button on the Ad Details page
  3. You will then be asked to confirm your purchase.

Remember: The price advertised in a Buy Now ad is not negotiable. Purchasing an item advertised in a Buy Now ad means that you buy at the price advertised.

Once you have confirmed you want to buy the item, your contact details are emailed to the seller, and the seller's contact details are emailed to you.  You will need to contact the seller to complete payment and receive the item.

When offering a quantity of identical items with Buy Now the item should remain listed until all of the items are sold instead of having to relist after each sale

I agree.
We really need to be able to list more then 1 item in a BUY NOW auction

It is is really useless to have to keep putting up a new auction every time a customer wants to purchase more then 1 of the same item.

The site will just be cluttered with duplicate items, when they could easily be condensed into one auction.

Couldnt agree more............
Multiple listings for duplicate items makes things messy, and complicated. When the listing is purchased, anyone else watching the item no longer has the oportunity to buy unless they search for the item again (if they bother), it means more time spent in the listing process, and because theres no 'good till cancled' equivilant, listings also need to be overlapped to be sure an item thats constantly in stock is always visible in the search results
