Hi fellow trading post sellers,
There is a fictitious buyer going under the name of Tracy McDermitt who is buying your items, going through to check-out, requesting payment details (ie, your bank account or paypal details) then keeps you in limbo!
DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION AS THIS IS A SCAM! She already has 3 negative feedback comments from other sellers being caught up in this scam so sellers beware!
Below is an email you may receive from her:
Hello __________,
I am writing to confirm my Intrest on this your product ,I would like to pay soonest Via PayPal or bank transfer moreso i would have love to pick it up my self but due to work load i cant but i would like it to be sent to my Pastors son who is having his birthday in Nigeria i need it wrapped and sent to him as a birthday gift.And i would be adding 150 extra for this to send through Dhl International.Get back to me asap on with payment details and total cost. Apart from the fact she is requesting your details, it is a big inconvenience since you have to re-list your item as well as apply for a refund of the selling fee! Just thought I would bring you all up to speed since there is really nothing that can be done about this!
