HI
I HAVE A 2002 PAJERO 4WD ON PETROL AM LOOKING INTO CONVERTING IT TO DUAL GAS/PETROL HOPEING SOMEONE HAS SOME TIPS HINTS OR INFO ON HOW SUCCESSFUL IT WILL BE? I KNOW ALL THE INFO REGARDING CONVERSION JUST NOT HOW GOOD IT ACTUALLY IS ON 4WD'S.

| You usually lose 25% of your cars power on gas, but ofcourse still powerfull enough 4 the roads. If u plan on taking it 4x4ing in my experience pajeros dont do the best so dont go trying 2 climb mountains! ... hope that helps -shaun

| You will lose some power. When your engine is tuned for gas it will not run as sweet on petrol. Gas fuel tanks don't give as long a range as petrol, however you have the advantage of having both.

| lpg has less "bang "power than ulp.hence you use MORE to do the same tasks.Your vehicle is efi.If the conversion is professionally installed it should drive the same on ulp as it does now.The older style conversions retarded the ign timing to compensate when on gas so when it was back on ulp the vehicle became sluggish.The ecu will compensate for this in a nano second today.hope this helps.
